SCALLOPED POTATOES AU GRATIN 
4 medium-size potatoes, peeled & thinly sliced
3 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 c. Cheddar cheese, grated
1 c. milk, scalded
2 tbsp. butter
Paprika

Arrange half of the potatoes in bottom of greased 8 inch casserole dish. Combine flour and salt. Sprinkle 1/2 of it over potatoes. Spread 1/2 of cheese over flour. Repeat layers of potatoes, flour and cheese. Pour hot milk over potatoes, dot with butter and sprinkle with paprika. Cook, uncovered in microwave oven 12 to 14 minutes until potatoes are tender. Turn casserole several times during cooking. Serves 4.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
