EASY MEAT PIE 
2-3 deep dish frozen pie shells
3 lbs. ground round
1 lb. grated Swiss cheese
4 oz. sliced mushrooms
1 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. pepper
1 tsp. garlic powder
2 beaten eggs

Servings: 4-6. Preparation time: 30 minutes. Cooking time: 1 hour at 350 degrees with few minutes broil at end.

Add seasonings and eggs to beef. Mix. Add in the cheese and mushrooms. Mush into pie shell, mound up in middle. Pat one shell over the top of the meat, trimming excess.

Use fork to press down edges. Use excess shell and if desired another shell to roll out and cut leaf shapes, etc. to decorate the top of pie. Leaf shapes in clusters work well to cover folds in shell. Smooth with cool water on finger tip.

Slight amount of fat in the beef serves to make the "leaves crust" very flavorful. Score the crust before baking. When crust starts browning, right after 1 hour of baking time, turn to broil for few minutes.
