RED VELVET CAKE 
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. Wesson oil
3 sm. eggs
1 c. buttermilk
2 1/2 c. plain flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cocoa
1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
1 tsp. vinegar
1 (1 oz.) bottle McCormick red food coloring

Mix sugar and Wesson oil together. Add eggs, one at a time; put cocoa and other ingredients into flour. Put soda in the milk and let it dissolve. Add milk, vinegar and coloring last.

CREAM CHEESE ICING:

1 c. chopped nuts
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 stick butter
3 c. powdered sugar
