CROCK-POT PEA SOUP 
1 lb. dried green split peas
1 1/2 c. diced carrots
3 chicken bouillon cubes
fresh cracked black pepper to taste
2 c. diced onions
2 tbsp. minced garlic
1 lb. canned ham, rinsed and cubed

Put all ingredients in crock-pot except ham. Add 7 cups water and cover. Cook on high for 6 hours or low for 12 hours until the peas fall apart. Add ham last few hours of cooking.
