SURVIVAL FOOD BARS | |
2 lbs. pulverized jerky or other dried meat 1 can nuts Seasoned salt and pepper 1 lb. raisins 10 oz. beef fat or rendered tallow (not pork or bear) Mix cool fat with finely crushed meat and add other ingredients. Dry out on tin foil 1 inch thick in food dryer or in sun in cheesecloth. When dry, cut in 2x3 inch food bars. Wrap in foil and dip in wax to store. |
