CHERRY - NUT BREAD 
2 1/2 c. flour
1 c. sugar
4 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 c. chopped nuts
1 c. diced cherries
1 egg
1 1/4 c. milk
2 tbsp. oil

In a large bowl mix well flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, nuts and cherries. In small bowl with fork beat egg, milk and oil until blended. Pour over flour mixture, stir just until ingredients are moistened.

Turn into greased 9 x 5 x 3 inch loaf pan. Bake in 350 degree oven 60-70 minutes or until pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool pan on rack 10 minutes. Turn out on rack. Cool completely before slicing.
