SLIGHTLY CHINESE | |
1 lb. ground beef 1 tbsp. oil (may use meat drippings) 1 lg. onion, chopped 1 1/2 c. chopped celery 1 can cream of mushroom soup 1 can cream of chicken soup 1 1/2 c. hot water 1/4 c. soy sauce 1/2 c. uncooked rice 1/2 c. cashew nuts 3 oz. can Chinese noodles Brown ground beef. Discard all but 1 tablespoon fat. Add onion and celery; brown slightly. Add soups, hot water, soy sauce and rice; mix well. Bake covered at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Uncover, sprinkle with Chinese noodles and nuts. Bake uncovered for another 30 minutes. |
