GOULASH 
2 pkg. boneless chuck, cut up in bite-size pieces
1 lg. onion, chopped

Brown onion; sprinkle with lots of paprika while browning. Then add meat to onions and continue browning. Sprinkle with flour over meat and onions. Add 1 large can tomato juice. Add water if juice disappears. Last hour, add sliced carrots. Simmer 3 hours. Serve over noodles or dumplings. Serves a lot.
