RED CABBAGE WITH APPLES 
1 sm. head red cabbage
3 apples
3/4 c. boiling water
3 tbsp. melted butter
1/4 c. vinegar
1 1/2 tsp. flour
1/4 c. brown sugar
2 tsp. salt
Pinch pepper

Shred cabbage. Put in pot with boiling water. Cover, cook 10 minutes. Add pared and sliced apples. Cook until tender. Add rest of ingredients. Combine heat.
