EASY PEANUT CANDY BARS 
1 c. dark corn syrup
1/2 c. sugar (white)
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. creamy peanut butter
6 c. Corn Flakes
1 c. peanuts (opt.)
1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips

Combine syrup, sugar and vanilla in 3 quart saucepan. Bring to rolling boil. Remove from heat and stir in peanut butter, Corn Flakes, and peanuts. With buttered hands spread evenly and firmly in buttered pan. Sprinkle chocolate bits evenly over top. Bake at 350 degrees until chocolate softens (about 1 minute). Spread chocolate evenly over candy mixture. Cut into bars. Chill to set. Makes 44 pieces 1 1/2 x 3 inches.
