"MOM'S" CHILI | |
1 1/2 lb. ground round 1 clove garlic, cut fine 1 tbsp. oil 3 carrots, cut fine 4 stalks celery, cut up 3 (15 1/2 oz.) cans Contadina tomato sauce 1 can hot chili beans Salt and pepper 1 tbsp. chili powder 3 c. chicken broth Fry ground round lightly in garlic and oil. Add carrots, celery, tomato sauce, chili beans. Add salt, pepper and chili powder to taste. Add chicken broth. Simmer 1 hour. Mother's recipe. (Mae Seufzer) |
