GREEK OR NEAR EASTERN SOUVLAKI 
2 onions
3 green peppers
1/2 lb. cherry tomatoes
3 lb. lamb, cubed
1 c. dry wine
1/2 c. pure olive oil
1/4 c. lemon juice
2 cloves garlic, crushed
3 tsp. oregano
Salt & pepper

Quarter and separate onions. Cut peppers in quarters. Halve tomatoes. Divide lamb into 8 portions. On skewers alternate lamb and vegetables.

Combine remaining ingredients to form a marinade. Marinate lamb and vegetables in refrigerator overnight. Broil or grill 20 minutes or until done to your taste. Serves 8.
