SPEEDY GOULASH | |
1 lb. ground beef 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce 4 oz. elbow macaroni (1 c.) 1 env. onion soup mix 3 sauce cans water Minced parsley Brown beef in skillet, stirring to separate particles. (Use a little butter if needed.) Add onion soup mix, tomato sauce and water; bring to a boil. Gradually add macaroni. Simmer uncovered about 15 minutes or until macaroni is tender, stirring frequently to keep macaroni from sticking. Add more water if necessary. Serve garnished with parsley. Yields 4 servings. |
