PUNCH BOWL CAKE 
1 yellow cake mix
1 can (21 oz.) cherry pie filling
1 can (20 oz.) crushed pineapple, drained
2 sm. pkgs. instant chocolate pudding
2 bananas, sliced
1 (16 oz.) Cool Whip

Prepare cake as directed using 2 (9 inch) round pans.

Prepare pudding as directed on box.

In a punch bowl crumble one layer of cake.

In layers, add 1/2 pie filling, 1/2 pudding, 1/2 pineapple, 1 banana sliced and 1/2 Cool Whip.

Repeat all layers in same order. May be garnished with cherries, coconut or nuts. Serve with ladle into punch cups.
