1 yellow or chocolate cake mix
2 sm. pkg. instant vanilla pudding
1 lg. can drained crushed pineapple
1 pt. strawberries
3 bananas
1 lg. Cool Whip
1 c. chopped pecans (optional)

Bake cake mix as directed on box. Prepare pudding as directed on package. Layer 1/2 cake, 1/2 pudding, 1/2 pineapple, 1/2 strawberries, 1/2 bananas and 1/2 Cool Whip. Start layering again with cake and same directions as first layer. Top with nuts or whatever topping you prefer. Better if made a day ahead before serving.
