SWEET AND SOUR SAUCE FOR ANY
MEAT
 
6 tbsp. sugar
2 tbsp. soy sauce
1 tbsp. water
3 tbsp. vinegar
1/2 c. pineapple juice
3 tbsp. catsup
2 tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 c. water
Cooked meat - pork, beef, or chicken, sliced
Pineapple chunks
Green pepper strips
Tomato chunks
Onion slices
Rice or Chinese noodles

Combine sugar and soy sauce and 1 tablespoon water, vinegar, pineapple juice and catsup in a saucepan. Bring to a boil. Combine cornstarch and remaining water; add to boiling mixture. Stir until thick.

Add sauce to meat slices. Simmer for 10 minutes. Add pineapple and vegetables. Serve with rice or Chinese noodles.
