CREAMED ONIONS 
18-20 med. onions
1/3 c. salad oil
3 tbsp. all purpose flour
1 1/2 c. milk
1 c. shredded processed cheese
1/2 c. chopped peanuts

Peel onions and cook in boiling salted water until tender. Drain. Blend oil and flour. Stir in milk and cook slowly until thick, stirring constantly. Add cheese; stir until melted. Add onions and heat through. Place in serving bowl and sprinkle with chopped peanuts.
