HAMBURGER TOMATO HOTDISH | |
6 lb. hamburger 5 lb. macaroni 1 bunch celery 4 onions 4 lg. size tomato juice 1 lg. tomato soup 1 lg. cream of mushroom soup 2 pkgs. frozen vegetables or canned Fry hamburger in large skillet until brown. Boil macaroni in large kettle of salted water, drain. Saute' onions that have been chopped in 1 cube butter. Saute' celery that has been chopped in fry pan with butter. Pour all cans of juice and soups into 2 roasters. Mix together macaroni and hamburger, onions and celery. Season with salt, pepper and chili powder. Roast for 1 hour, stir occasionally. Serves about 125. |
