2 lbs. ground beef Salt and pepper to taste 1 lg. green pepper, chopped 1 lg. onion, chopped 6 lg. potatoes, mashed with butter, milk, salt, and pepper American cheese Brown meat and seasonings. Skim off grease. Boil and mash potatoes. Add butter, milk, and salt and pepper. Make "floors" by alternating layers of beef mixture and potatoes in casserole. Top with cheese for "roofs". Heat at 375 degrees for 20-30 minutes. |
