PUNCH BOWL CAKE 
1 box yellow cake mix
1 lg. box vanilla instant pudding
1 lg. can crushed pineapples
1 lg. can cherry pie filling
1 bag coconut
Pecan pieces
1 jar red or green cherries with stems
1 extra large Cool Whip

Cook cake according to box, making two layers. Crumble one layer at bottom of punch bowl. Layer 1/2 of pudding on top of crumbled cake. Crumble the second layer of cake on top of this. Layer rest of pudding. Put pineapples on top of pudding. Add cherry pie filling on top of pineapples. Cover with coconut. Spread Cool Whip to cover entire top. Decorate top of Cool Whip with pecans, cherries and additional coconut.
