STRAWBERRY GLAZE PIE 
1 c. sugar
3 tbsp. cornstarch

Mix together.

Add: 2 tbsp. white Karo syrup

Cook until clear and thick. Add 3 tablespoons strawberry Jello powder. Set aside. Wash and drain 1 quart fresh strawberries. Put in baked shell. Pour glaze (partially cooled) over berries. Refrigerate. Serve topped with whipped cream.

TOPPING:

1 pt. whipped cream
1 tbsp. powdered sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Beat cream; add sugar gradually. Add vanilla and salt (few grains) until stiff enough to hold its shape.
