RUM CAKE 
1 box Butter Recipe yellow cake mix
Pecans
1 tbsp. rum flavoring

Grease and flour tube pan. Put nuts in bottom of pan. Prepare cake mix as directed on box, adding rum flavoring to batter. Pour batter over nuts and bake as directed on box.

GLAZE:

1 c. sugar
1 stick butter
1 1/2 tsp. rum flavoring with enough water to make 1/2 c.

Boil together 2 or 3 minutes. Mixture will be thin. Pour over baked cake. Cake is better left in pan but can be removed after completely cool.
