PECAN PIE BARS 
1 1/2 c. flour
2 tbsp. brown sugar
6 tbsp. butter
2 eggs
1/2 c. packed brown sugar
1/2 c. chopped pecans
1/2 c. dark corn syrup
2 tbsp. butter, melted
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt

Stir together flour and 2 tablespoons brown sugar; cut in 6 tablespoons butter. Pat flour mixture into an ungreased 7x11 inch baking dish; bake in 350 degree oven for 15 minutes.

In mixing bowl, beat eggs slightly; stir in rest of brown sugar, pecans, syrup, 2 tablespoons butter, vanilla and salt. Pour over baked layer; bake in 350 degree oven for 25 minutes or until done. Cool slightly. Cut into bars. Makes 32.
