SIMPLE PECAN PIE BARS 
1 1/2 c. flour
2 eggs, beaten slightly
1/2 c. dark corn syrup or honey
1/2 tsp. salt
Brown sugar
Butter
1/2 c. chopped pecans

Combine flour and 2 tablespoons brown sugar in mixing bowl. Cut in 1/2 cup butter until crumbly. Pat into ungreased 11x7 1/2 x 1 1/2-inch baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Set aside.

Combine 1/2 cup brown sugar with next 5 ingredients. Add 2 tablespoons melted butter; mix well. Pour over baked layer. Bake for 25 minutes longer. Cool until pecan layer is slightly firm. Cut into bars.
