BURGER BAKED BEANS 
1 lb. ground beef
4 slices bacon, cut into 1/2 inch pieces
1 c. chopped onions
2 (16 oz.) cans pork and beans drained
2 tbsp. bourbon
1 tbsp. pancake syrup
1 1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. dry mustard
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 dashes bottled red pepper sauce
Cooked bacon for garnish

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. In medium skillet, cook beef until browned. Remove beef with slotted spoon to 1 1/2 quart casserole; discard drippings. In same skillet, cook bacon until crisp; set aside, add onions and saute until tender, about 5 minutes. In casserole, combine onions and remaining ingredients with meat. Stir gently. Cover and bake 45 minutes. Uncover and bake 15 minutes more.
