PRETZEL SALAD | |
2 c. crushed pretzels 3/4 c. butter, melted 3 tbsp. sugar 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened 1 c. sugar 1 (10 oz.) pkg. whipped topping 1 lg. box instant strawberry Jello or raspberry 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries or raspberries Combine crushed pretzels, sugar and butter. Press into an 8 x 12 inch glass baking dish. Bake at 400 degrees for 8 minutes; cool. Combine cream cheese and sugar; fold in whipped topping and spread over cooled crust. Combine gelatin, 2 cups boiling water and frozen berries; stir well and refrigerate until gelatin begins to set. Pour gelatin mixture over cream cheese mixture. Chill until firm. Serves 12. |
