PRUNES 
1 lb. dry prunes
2 c. water
2 c. red wine
1 c. sugar
Flour to thicken

Soak prunes overnight in water and wine. In same liquid add sugar and cook. Add flour to thicken sauce. Serve hot with Flemish Rabbit Stew. Serves 4.

We make this at home in Belgium usually for a special occasion in the winter time when stews warm you up.
