RICE AND VEGETABLE CASSEROLE 
1 lb. hamburger
2 c. sliced potatoes
1/2 c. diced onion
1 c. sliced carrots
1/2 c. raw white rice
2 c. tomato or juice
Salt and pepper

Brown and season hamburger. Place in 2 quart casserole in layers. Beginning with meat, rice, carrots, onions, potatoes and tomatoes. Cover with enough water or juice to show through. Cover and bake at 325 degrees for 2 hours.
