FOUR LAYER BRIDGE CLUB DESSERT | |
1 (7 1/2 oz.) pkg. vanilla wafers, crushed 3/4 c. butter 3 c. powdered sugar 3 eggs 3/4 c. finely chopped pecans 1 (#2) can cherry pie filling, mashed 1/2 pt. whipping cream 1 pkg. Dream Whip, prepared 1/2 tsp. vanilla 10 maraschino cherries Put a little more than 1/2 crumbs on bottom of buttered 9 x 13 inch pan. Beat butter and sugar together, with electric mixer; add eggs one at a time, and beat well after each addition. Spread egg mixture on layer of crumbs; sprinkle with chopped nuts. Top with the pie filling. Whip cream and sweeten to taste with additional powdered sugar and vanilla. Whip topping according to directions; combine whipped cream and whipped topping. Spread over fruit layer, top with remaining crumbs. Refrigerate overnight; garnish with cherries. |
