PLUM CHICKEN 
1 whole chicken
1 1/4 c. herb stuffing mix
1 apple
1/3 c. celery, chopped
9 tbsp. hot water, divided (5)
3 tbsp. butter, melted
2 tbsp. chopped walnuts
1 tbsp. chopped onion

Mix last seven ingredients together and stuff chicken.

SAUCE:

1/2 c. dry white wine
1/2 c. plum jam
1/4 c. lemon juice
1 1/2 tsp. ginger
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. flour

Mix these ingredients together with the remaining 4 tablespoons of hot water. Place chicken in shallow pan and pour sauce over the chicken. Baste occasionally while cooking, 325 degree oven, 1 3/4 hours.
