BEEF PATTIES 
1 1/4 lb. extra lean ground beef
2 tbsp. butter
1/2 lb. mushrooms, chopped
Green onions, minced
3/4 c. dry white wine
1/4 c. beef consomme

Divide ground beef into 4 patties about 1 inch thick.

Heat butter in heavy skillet. Add patties. Saute 3 minutes on each side until medium rare, add onions and mushrooms. Saute for 3 minutes, add wine and beef consomme. Cook until sauce is reduced and slightly thickened.

Serve with baked potato slices and a green vegetable.
