HAZELS SOUR CREAM POUND CAKE | |
3 sticks butter (no butter) 3 c. sugar 1 c. sour cream 6 eggs 3 c. flour 2 tsp. vanilla 1/4 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. baking soda Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs one at a time. Sift flour, soda and salt together. Add the dry ingredients to cake batter alternately with the sour cream. Add vanilla. Pour into a well greased and floured (10 inch) tube pan or 3 loaf pans. Bake at 315 degrees for 1 hour and 15 minutes. (When using loaf pans check at 1 hour to see if done.) |
