TEXAS MEAT BALLS AND RICE
(Microwave)
 
1 lb. ground beef
1 egg, beaten
2 tsp. chili powder
Salt and pepper to taste
1 can stewed tomatoes
1 lg. onion, sliced
1 lg. green onion, chopped
3/4 c. uncooked instant rice

Mix meat, egg and seasonings. Form into meat balls. Put into 2 quart casserole dish. Microwave on high 4-6 minutes or until redness is gone. Drain meat balls. Add tomatoes, onion, peppers and rice. Microwave on high 4-7 minutes.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
