GRANNIE'S POUND CAKE 
3 c. sugar
2 sticks butter
5 eggs
2 c. cake flour
1 c. regular flour
1/2 tsp. salt

Cream together sugar and butter about 5 minutes. Add eggs one at a time. Then mix together flours and salt. Add flour mixture alternately with 1 cup milk and 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla to the creamed sugar and butter. Do not overmix at this point.

Pour into greased and floured Bundt or tube pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour 10 minutes. NOTE: There is no baking powder or soda in this recipe.
