CHEESE SOUFFLE | |
4 tbsp. butter (oleo) 4 tbsp. flour 1 c. milk 1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese 3 eggs 3 egg whites Melt butter in saucepan. Add flour, mix well. Add milk. Stir until thickened and smooth. Add grated cheese, egg yolks. Beat egg whites until stiff. Fold egg whites into cheese sauce. Pour into greased 1 1/2 quart casserole. Place casserole, set casserole in shallow pan of water. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 to 60 minutes. |
