FUDGY OATMEAL BARS 
2 c. brown sugar
1 c. butter, softened
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
3 c. quick Quaker oats
1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
1 can sweetened condensed milk
2 tbsp. butter
1 c. nuts, chopped
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 15 1/2 x 10 1/2-inch pan. Mix brown sugar, butter, eggs and vanilla in bowl. Stir in flour, baking soda and salt. Stir in oats. Reserve 1/3 oatmeal mixture. Press remaining oatmeal mixture in pan.

Heat chocolate chips, milk and butter over low heat, stirring constantly, until melted. Remove from heat. Add nuts, vanilla and salt. Spread over oatmeal mixture. Crumble remaining oatmeal mixture over top of chocolate. Bake until golden brown, 20 to 25 minutes. Yield: 70 (2-inch) bars.
