MAYONNAISE CAKE | |
1 box devil's food cake (pudding in mix) 1 c. mayonnaise 1 c. water 3 eggs Combine all ingredients. Beat for 3 minutes. Pour in 2 well greased and floured 9" or 8" pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes or until springs back when touched and pulls away from sides of pan. ICING: 1 (8 oz.) Cool Whip 1 box instant Jello pudding 1/4 c. confectioners' sugar 1 c. milk Mix instant pudding and confectioners' sugar. Add milk. Beat or whip with wire whisk until firm. Fold in Cool whip. This is not a sweet icing. It just highly compliments and delights mayonnaise cake. Must be refrigerated when not in use (if any is left). |
