1 lg. cabbage 2 lbs. ground meat 2 eggs 1 1/4 c. bread crumbs 1/4 c. ketchup 2 lg. cans tomato sauce 2 lg. cans whole cranberries 2 tbsp. sugar Salt & pepper Prepare cabbage by placing in very hot water for 10 minutes. Separate cabbage leaves. Combine meat, eggs, ketchup, crumbs, salt and pepper. Place ball of meat in cabbage leaf, fold and roll and hold together with a toothpick. Place scraps of cabbage at the bottom of the pot and cabbage rolls on the top. SAUCE: Tomato sauce and cranberries. Simmer for 2 1/2 hours. |
