1 c. ground cinnamon
1 tbsp. ground cloves
1 tbsp. ground nutmeg
3/4 c. applesauce
2 tbsp. tacky glue

Combine cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg. Stir in applesauce and glue. Work mixture until smooth. If too dry add more applesauce, if too wet add more cinnamon. Divide mixture into 4 portions. Roll out on cinnamon covered surface 1/4 inch thick. Cut into shapes with cookie cutters. Pierce a hole in top for ribbon. Dry on cinnamon sprinkled cookie sheet. May be air dried or in 250 degree oven for several hours turn frequently. Great for Christmas tree ornaments!
