CHOCOLATE ICEBOX COOKIES 
1/4 lb. butter
4 sq. baking chocolate
4 eggs
2 c. granulated sugar
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. vanilla

Melt butter and chocolate together. Beat eggs, add sugar and add to butter and chocolate. Combine flour and baking powder and add to chocolate mixture. Add vanilla. Refrigerate overnight. Pinch off small balls and roll in powdered sugar. Bake on greased cookie sheet for 10 minutes at 350 degrees. You can vary cooking time to more or less for crisp or chewy cookies. Cool on rack.
