CHRISTMAS MINCE MEAT BARS 
1 tbsp. soft butter
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
2 tbsp. molasses
1 tsp. vanilla flavoring

Stir ingredients together until creamy and add: 1/2 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. ground cinnamon 1 tsp. ground cloves

Mix and stir in: 1/4 c. sliced almonds 1/4 c. seedless raisins 1 c. mince meat

Fold until well blended and spread thinly in two 9 x 13 inch greased pans. Dough puff and fill holes as baked. Bake at 400 degrees for 12-15 minutes. Bars bake fairly fast. Bake until no imprint remains when touched lightly.

Immediately spread bars with mixture of: 3 tbsp. warm milk 1/2 tsp. vanilla flavoring 1/2 tsp. almond flavoring

Cut the bars into 2 inch diamonds or squares. Makes approximately 6 dozen cookies.
