CHRISTMAS MEAT BALLS | |
MEATBALLS: 2 lb. ground beef 2 eggs 1/4 c. water 1 c. bread crumbs 1 sm. onion, chopped fine 1 1/2 tsp. salt 1/8 tsp. pepper SAUCE: 1 can cranberry sauce 1 (12 oz.) bottle chili sauce 1 tbsp. lemon juice 2 tbsp. brown sugar Combine sauces in large pot. Make meatballs with meat, eggs, water, crumbs, onion, salt and pepper. Make into small balls. Drop balls in sauce. Simmer 1 hour. May be served with rice as a main course or used as an appetizer. |
