MELROSE SOFT GINGERBREAD | |
3 c. flour 1 tbsp. ginger 1 tbsp. cinnamon 1 tsp. cloves 1/2 tsp. baking soda 1 c. sugar 1/2 tsp. salt 3 eggs, beaten 1 c. molasses 1 c. buttermilk 1 c. melted butter Sift dry ingredients together. Combine remaining ingredients and gradually add dry ingredients. Beat for 1 minute. Pour into greased pan. Bake at 350 degrees (preheated) 30-35 minutes or until firm when pressed with finger tips. Serve with Cool Whip or plain. |
