1 stick butter
1 box Escort crackers (use no substitute)

Crumble crackers into crumbs. Melt butter and mix crumbs until the two are well blended. In the meantime:

Boil 4 or 5 chicken breasts or a whole fryer in well seasoned water (salt, onions, celery, etc.). Cut chicken in bite size pieces when cooked. Mix together:

1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 sm. container sour cream

Mix the three above well. Line casserole with half the buttered crumbs. Layer chopped chicken over crumbs. Pour soup mixture evenly over the chicken. Sprinkle remainder of buttered crumbs evenly over the top. Bake at 350 degrees preheated over for 30 minutes.
