1 c. butter
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. Crisco
2 tbsp. vanilla
4 tbsp. milk
5 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda

Mix first 6 ingredients until creamy. Add flour, salt, and baking soda; mix well. Roll out to 1/4 inch thick. Cut with cookie cutters. Bake on ungreased cookie sheets 10 minutes in a 350 degree oven.
