1 c. powdered sugar
1 c. butter
2 eggs
4 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. granulated sugar
1 c. salad oil
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cream of tartar

Cream sugars, butter and oil until fluffy, add eggs and vanilla. Mix in remaining ingredients. Chill dough. Roll in small balls. Place on ungreased cookie sheet and flatten with glass dipped in sugar. Bake in 350 degree oven for 12 minutes or until a light brown.
