CHOCOLATE COVERED CHERRIES 
3 tbsp. soft butter
3 tbsp. light corn syrup
1/4 tsp. salt
2 c. powdered sugar
1 1/2 lb. candy making milk chocolate or almond bark
60 cherries, pitted

Drain cherries. Combine butter, syrup, salt, and sugar. Knead until smooth. Put 1 teaspoon mixture around each cherry. Chill 1 hour. Melt chocolate in microwave. Dip cherries until well coated and stand on wax paper to dry.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
