PEANUT BUTTER REFRIGERATOR
COOKIES
 
1 c. peanut butter
3/4 c. shortening
2 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
3 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
3/4 tsp. salt

Cream together peanut butter and sugar. Beat in eggs, one at a time; add dry ingredients sifted together. Form dough into a 2-inch roll and let stand in refrigerator until firm. Slice into 1/4-inch slices. Place on cookie sheet; press with floured fork across centers.

Bake 10 minutes in 350°F oven.
