SQUASH CASSEROLE 
2 to 3 lbs. squash (any kind), cooked and drained
1/2 c. mayonnaise
1/2 c. grated sharp cheese
1/2 stick butter, melted
1 egg
1 tbsp. sugar
Bread crumbs
Broken pecans

Combine squash, mayonnaise, cheese, butter, egg and sugar, blending gently but well. Turn into a greased casserole dish. Top with bread crumbs. Sprinkle pecans on top. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes. Makes 4 to 6 servings.
