ITALIAN MEATBALLS | |
2 slices white bread 2 tbsp. water 1 lb. ground top round 1 egg 1 clove garlic, pressed 1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese 1/4 c. loosely chopped Italian parsley or basil 1 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. black pepper 2 tbsp. olive oil Soak bread in water, squeeze dry. Shred bread into small pieces into medium sized bowl. Add ground beef, egg, garlic, cheese, parsley or basil, salt and pepper. Mix until well combined with wet hands. Evenly shape 18 meatballs. Place 2 tablespoons oil in large skillet over medium heat. Brown meatballs. If needed, add more oil. |
